well using my much loved iphone this morning put it back in my pocket and 30 mins later go to use it and no power. I moved the silent button and no vibration, i have tried a reset still nothing. It had full charge and i have since tried charging it but nothing. I dropped it a month ago and it has a few marks on it so i dont want to take it to apple for them to refuse service on it.

also if u ring my number it rings and goes to answer phone but the iphone does nothing

Not sure if its the same But mine would just have a blank screen as though it was turned off and i just held the power and home button for like 30 secs and it sorted itself, Think it was a bug as it stopped doing it after i updated it. Is it still under warranty?

Either reset as above by holding power and home together. Next restore it via iTunes. If that doesn't work it's probably gubbed
