Default Saxo brake upgrade

Hi i bought a set of 14 inch alloys. I was going to fit the peugeot 106 gti brakes but since i now have more clearance i think im now able to fit the peugeot 306 big brakes? Or you need 15 inch wheels ?

Think u need 15” wheels for that, I’ve just bought 306gti6 brakes and they are big. Ive got a set of front vtr brakes with drilled and grooved discs and ebc redstuff pads if you’re interested

The 206gti discs are only 1mm smaller than 306gti6 brakes, I think it’s more to do with the size of calliper not the actual disc

Suspect you're referring to 206 GTi180 ones if you're quoting that size.

With the 206 GTI (266mm) you wont have any issues in terms of diameter with a 14' wheel.

I believe the only problem you may encounter would be dependant on the offset / spoke design of your wheel in terms of caliper clearance - potentially sorted with spacers if the fitment allows.

But......... in terms of diameter, yes, a 14' wheel will fit over the 266mm 206 GTI setup.
