For Sale Threads 'Sold'

Recently on another forum I'm on they've implemented that once 'Sold' is placed into the title of the thread then it is automatically deleted.

I know that in order for 'itrader' and references to be made you may not want to use this feature of deletion, but maybe something along these lines to save the time of moderators having to manually remove redundant threads?

You may think its but just a thought on another way to possibly making the site cleaner?

Similar may be applicable in wanted such as 'Found" then that automatically deletes thread?

or make users be able to deletes posts in there own threads therefore people could just edit the same thread each time they sell something new and jus delete the old comments!
therefore each user would only actually need one thread each

An automated service to delete threads with 'SOLD' in the title will free up alot of mods time

Sold one item to multiple people then requested the thread to be deleted, if the threads there people can raise their concerns etc.

Relies on the seller marking it as sold though which isnt gonna happen too often I dont think unless theres some enforcement.

Would be easier for a for sale thread to have the option of

Sold
For sale

If OP edits their top post, could change the icon / text, where it says like "NSFW" or"Implemented" on here.

Could make it obvious.

Most other forums I frequent let the poster lock their own FS thread.
