is changing the IMEI number hard out of interest? and can you just choose whatever you want to change it too?

Its not hard tbh, but whats classed as hard, if you mean spending hours upon hours reading researching then testing going wrong then right, then yes this is hard.

Yeah i used my old sony ericsson imei number, but i read if you wanted 3g you needed some iphone imei, so you could walk into 02 get the imei off another iphone Lolz.

To do it you have to revert back to old itunes software, then upgrade custom software without the carrier etc, its a ballache, if you can get it done for say £20 i would rather do that.

Btw i did this to a phone that i purchased then finding the imei was blocked. Its very illegal to change the imei number its used for testing purposes only its fine.

yea im just thinking if i 'come across' an iphone that ill change the imei to use it again, very illegal but most coppers cant spell IMEI so should be fine

although i dont condone it, but if a cheap one comes up i may be tempted to buy one lol
