blackberry torch, retreiving photos and memory card question

hi all,
Wondering if theres anyone that knows how to retrieve deleted photos. the photos were saved to the device rather than the memory card? i know you can retrieve them deleted pics from the media card but cant work out how to do it from the device without using software!

ALSO does anyone know if i put a friends memory card in to my phone will any of my data get copied to there card??
