Thanks!!! The poles are so you know exactly where the front of the truck is, when sat in the drivers seat you can't tell, it's like looking out of a transit van.(I nearly took my parents car with me when getting out of a space behind them.)

She is isn't she!!!
They've got to lean around 40 degrees before they will topple, but believe me even 25 degrees and it feels worrying, although a good bit of lean with too fast a speed will result in toppling, but you'd be suprised how much they can take before going.
Here's a little vid from my last outing...

Curtains
Hello there,
Loving what you've done to your deli!
I have similar aspirations with mine to make it into a bit more of a camper.
Would you mind helping me out and letting me know where you got your curtains from and how you attached them to the windows? You've done an excellent job and I'd love to get a similar result with my efforts.
Thanks in advance,
Pablo

Hi Pablo,
Thanks, I ordered them from Hong Kong, there's a seller on ebay called delicar300 he sells a few items for the Deli, however he only has net one's advertised at the minute, mine are the silk ones which block out more light. Send him a message and he will be able to order more and put them up for you to buy. He did that for me when I asked him if he had anymore in stock.
They all come with fittings to stick up however I screwed on my front ones and the rear window, the side ones stick nicely onto the edges of the side windows.
Hope this helps, for any more inspiration look on mdocuk
Cheers,
Nick

I love this!
You've taken a car that i really, really dont like and turned it into something rather interesting! She's got some great potential in your hands by the looks of it!
Added to my favourites so i can keep track of your progress
Keep up the awsome work!

Just to update this thread on this years MOT...
She failed on...
Track rods
split track rod gaiters
split CV boots
exhaust
OS wind screen washer
All of which (other than the windscreen washer) I had expected and already had the parts ready to fit. So after fitting new exhaust, rods, gaiters, and CV boots (and refilling the screenwash - Doh!) She's good to go for another year!!!
This has been the first money I've had to spend on her in 2 years other than oil, air, and fuel filters, modifications and fuel. Not bad going for an 18 year old truck.
The next day I took her off-roading at work to treat her! (10 laps of our Forest School, while dropping off concrete paving slabs as foundations for a new outdoor classroom I've been building for the kids.) I wanted to take her up to my local pay & play but the guys who organise it have fallen out with the farmer and are looking for a new site.

Haven't updated this for a year. All's still the same with her, just enjoyed using her.
She passed her MOT today with no advisories, not bad for an 18 year old truck.

New alternator fitted last week and she's running spot on again, although fuel pump seal needs doing soon. Took her out to a local meet at a fantastic venue, getting the chance to park her under a Vulcan Bomber for a few pics...
Good job I'd removed the roof rack and spot lights!
