Exclamation Induction kit help !

hey guys and gals i have a Mk1 saxo SX1.6i auto and want to fit a induction kit can somebody post some advice as in what kit to buy interms of ease to fit and price etc cheers chris

since i was about to post something induction related.. ill keep it here aswell.

sorry if it gets hijacked!

i heard an induction kit on a 1.1 can fu** shit up? is this true.

and before the flaming.. i want it for a nicer sound, not the +1 horses as opposed to the gains on a vtr.

Save some money and drill the airbox. Its ghetto but it'll give you the noise you want.
If you want to spend money then my personal vote is:

Its cheaper than a CDA so make of that what you will but not as crap as just a cone filter sucking in hot air from the engine bay.

Induction kits are an easy job, you shoould't have to worry about ease of fitting.

That CDA copycat looks interesting...

Your 1.6i sx is basically a vtr, I would go for a wolfrace one off eBay £20 or if you can still get hold of one try Kam racing for a raceland one.

cheers every one one more stupid question some of the induction kits say for 8V or 16V how can i tell if my saxo is 8 or 16 ? cheers

the sheer size difference in the top of the engine will tell you. i.e 3 piece rocker cover as opposed to 1 piece

They made basically a vtr auto, it was an sx shell fitted with full vtr running gear. They were not that slow. My mother in law had one, it went well
