check out the pics on my project page - it's down 50mm on the same wheels so it'll give you a better idea maybe. i'd have done the front first though for sure

looks bang on mate! tyre edge about level with the arches. just what i'm going for. silvertec bulbs look really good aswell. glad to see it gets rid of all the orange (no amber casing etc). big difference. a definite future mod
seems like guesswork lowering the back. measured it perfectly, 50mm. looks much lower now though... trial and error will get it right in the end. suppose that's main advantage of having a go yourself!
cheers, chris

sorted my oil breather filter. hopefully for good this time!
chopped the cam cover to airbox pipe but it was too big to fit inside the neck of the filter, so had to cut a load of rubber away from inside a round hole using a flat blade. tricky job lol but worth it. got it just right so it was a pain in the arse to push the filter on. a nice tight fit! so no clips needed
nice tidy effort i reckon. chuffed
cheers, chris

gave it a good wash and valet (ignore the height for now lol)
inside:
back seats out, hoovered everywhere, all interior plastics and glass cleaned
outside:
alloys/tyres/arches cleaned, snow foamed whole car, rinsed, washed with ag shampoo and mitt, rinsed, dried with blade and microfibres, polished with ag super resin polish, waxed, tyres shined, all exterior plastics dressed with ag bumper care
looking good i reckon!
fully rewired my sub aswell. amp power lead now runs from fusebox instead of battery (so that positive terminal quick release now serves a purpose) and through the grommet in the bulkhead. really neat job. earthed it off better aswell. cheers for the guides pred!

Looks nice
Can you put a vid up of the zauust? I have a piper backbox and I'm debating whether to get a supersprint centre section with no silencer. Do you have to get one for the VTS?...Cause I cant find any for a VTR?
And get those wheels on!!

thanks i'm not sure on the exact size as the filter was on the car when i got it. so just had to cut the neck to fit. you're best just measuring the diameter of the pipe you want to fit the filter to, then that's you're filter neck internal diameter measurement. if that makes sense lol

thanks also i went for the jewel side reps over the frosted style as i'm still toying with the idea of smoked jewel rear lights. few other things on my list before i get them though
got laid off from my job on monday so will be able to get some vids of the exhaust soon. sorry about the wait!
fitted my mdf rings for better sound and better window clearance
screwed the tweeters in place
also completely rewired the front speakers aswell, so it's now all red for positive and black for negative which keeps things simple
fitted my omp upper strut brace
my k&n panel arrived too (finally) so may as well post a pic before i fit it cos you've all seen a standard airbox before!
cheers, chris

yeah might be best to wait and see before you start chopping pipes!
a few pics from today with the new wheels on
well pleased with them. can get a jack under without rolling the car onto planks of wood first now aswell lol
cheers, chris
