Front and rear speaker replacements?
I'm thinking of replacing the stock speakers in my saxo (03 Desire, 3 door) as I'm looking for a better quality of sound (budget of about £50 for front pair). Would these http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B009...AC_SX110_SY165 be suitable for the front door speakers or would they get in the way of the window mechanism? If not, any suggestions? Also, are the rear speakers worth replacing on the 3 door models? I've heard that they can be very difficult to get out and put new ones in but I'm willing to give it a try.

check out the FAQs on this section there is some really good information on them. Cant see the speakers you have link but a lot of people recommend JBL stuff as its cheap and good.

The speakers I linked where Pioneer TS-A1323i 300W 13cm 3-way Coaxial Speakers. Thanks for the reply. I'll check them JBL's out.

Nice
Thanks for the suggestion. I'd quite happily pay a bit more if they are worth the money. I've heard that the Infinity Kappa speakers are pretty good but I'm not sure.

Ive looked at Alpine speakers and they do look pretty good for their price but Im looking for something a bit more upmarket. I think ive already decided on the Focal spaekers.

I would disagree. Yes, they work as a speaker but they do a terrible job of it.

JBL's would not have been much more expensive and better quality.

didn't know shit was good value for whatever the price it is that you pay. Wait until you hear decent speakers, then you'll realise. Could have pushed 7-8 quid up and get some JBL, not sure if personal preference is even a factor when it comes to being robbed
