Default Vtr on 205 pepperpots 10mm spacer ok?

Pepperpots are et24, I already have some 10mm spacer shims so would bring it down to et14, standard ride height vtr 185/55/14, likely to have any clearance issues?

pepperpots are ford wheels.

if you mean 1.6 205 gti wheels then yes they are ET24 and 5.5" wide, so don't need any spacers as VTR wheels are 6" and ET14, meaning the inner rim is in almost exactly the same place.

Yes 1.6 205 Gti wheels , are VTR wheels really ET14? I thought they were 15 or 16. Ok thanks for that useful to know but if I wanted to widen the track with up to a 10mm spacer they shouldn't foul the arches then? to me they look lost in the arches.
I would throw away the spacer shim and do it properly with hubcentric spacers after researching a bit this morning & obviously longer bolts.
