Default Daily driven gold 8v Saxo from Poland

Hi guys.
You might've seen my saxo already on the forums in one of my threads where I asked you for advice.

Seeing that the forum is not as alive as it once was I decided to add a "progress" thread of my own.

Can't really promise you frequent updates as of right now I lack both a budget to do any major repairs or modifications, as well as space, tools and practical mechanical knowledge to do them myself, but I guess I'll be able to post something new from time to time.

To begin with, the car started it's life as a 1.4 VTS model bought in Germany.
Later on, one of it's previous owners changed the engine to the 1.6 8v 98hp vtr engine.

Being a continental saxo, it has ABS. It has drums in the rear thought.

I bought a little more than two years ago and during that time, despite being driven almost daily in normal road conditions, including harsh Polish winters it has not given me any problems.

Some time along my ownership experience this happened:

Some time later somebody apparently decided to go ahead and try to drive an old hilux over the front part of my saxo to no avail

The body work was then repaired.
I decided to leave the dent in the door for later, as It should be possible to get it pulled out without painting, which will be considerably cheaper.

Right now Im waiting for the weather to get warmer so I can put my restored VTR alloys in gloss white on as well as do some minor paint restoration.

Got them like this

Had them sandblasted

And then powdercoated

It'll look nice on those fresh wheels.

I've changed the wheels today.
Need to restore the black trim and do some more polishing.

Have fixed alot of minor defects on my saxo over the course of the last 2 months, no serious issues now.
Apart from the backbox and middle pipe which are utterly fucked, and have to go.
I've decided to go with a more sporty backbox. I got a Ulter sport one, which is made specifically for a 1.6 106.
They don't make one that fits 1.6 saxos directly, apart from a complete rally system, so I went with one that should be the easiest to fit. Prolly will have to re-weld the hooks.
It's supposed to be relatively quiet, but we'll see. Seen it on a couple of other cars, and all of them seemed to produce a nice sound without waking up the dead. Ulter is a polish company by the way.
The pipe itself is nowhere to be found in Poland though, so I will need to put something in its place when Im installing the new backbox.
I should be done with it by the end of this week.

Had my saxo's exhaust fixed (managed to find a brand new middle section).
Also installed the new Ulter backbox. Went on without problems, almost perfect fit.
Very happy with results, put together a video for you guys.
