Yeah first I done even changed the fuse to be on the safe side its driving me nuts

Replaced alternator and heater is working again but still no power steering the pump was working when I put a new battery in the car with the dodgy alternator only worked for a few days but nothing now with the new alternator..

Give the power steering pumps a few hits with a hammer ( not a joke true fix) <<< just trust me car has to be running tho

Also helps if someone is turning steering wheel at the same time while you hit it from under the car

just an update found the problem the plug of the power steering pump wasnt clipped in to the other plug so had to cable tie both plugs together and all working fine now...

my heaters dont work, and my demister doesnt work either.. but i took panals off to find that the 2red wires coming from the ignition are already unplugged and i cant find the wires to plug them into... any ideas??

Its not fuse will try wiring again but it shud be ok as its in a block

If all 3 have gone again and it's not a fuse then it's something connected to the wiring that you done the fault it's self is the ignition barrel and by doing this fix it bypasses the ignition barrel so you have two options new barrel and keys all around or redo the fix with all new wire

Also you can try and turn the car on with heaters on and wiggle the key
|

Can you bypass the the fuse box as no power getting to said fuse and is there a relay also

Hey all. First time asker. Long time reader.
My PAS pump isnt working. Its a real pain when reversing. My heats and rear window demister works fine. I'm checked the fluid and it looks like its all there. But thats as black as the ace of spades. I'm wondering if you guys know whats up and if its the relay then where abouts is it. Cheers

I had the same problem yesterday on my vtr, no power steering no rear demister and no blower fan, checked fuses they were all fine and just did what the first post said to do and it worked straight away thank you!
