im a keen motorcyclist and car driver.
the ammount of stupid twats that have their front windows tinted anything past smoke, that almost hit bikers...

its not just because they cant see whos driving the vehicle!
its for safty too!
i drive on average 25 cars ADAY! and when they have front tinted windows i hate it.

im confused i want to tint all windows this is what i was going to do

front and front sides : smoked to about 20% / 25%

back and back rears : 1 down from limo black

now the reason im confused is it said i think on gov website or something like that
that NO tinting on the front windscreen is aloud now dew to a major a accident with
on car and motorcycle. sooo now may 2010 can we have full tints in car or is this
law change real. doin my head in finding out what were aloud to have on cars.

you can tint them, however as they come out of the factory with a slight tint, there is no aftermarket film that is under the legal allowed % (and if there was, it would look crap

Armour Tint say they have very thin or limo black.

im not getting cheaper halford film im going to a proper
tinting firm and they will take the windows out ect.

FRONTS = cant tint with any film available on the market

REARS (anything behind B pillar) = you can tint 100%

you CAN use CLEAR security film on the front side windows, this will prevent or hinder people smashing your windows to gain entry

however, they will just pop your lock or bend your door instead :/

i see all talk about no film legal for front windows
but there is spray to tint windows
we can use that but how would you know exactly how much light is passing through?
is there some sort of tester we could do?
and is the spray stuff any good?
says the more you spray on the darker it gets

Dont think you would get an even finish tbh with the spray, Film would be best but again i think it puts it slightly above the legal limit, There is a test you can do, its wether or not you can find somewhere to test it for you, Apart from being pulled by the police lol
