Exclamation my tv

has stopped working on the HDMI setting.. which means my ps3 wont work with my tv even though i was playing on it last night... come to switch my ps3 on today and my screen had lines down it in mad colours but the ps3 sound was working... tried resetting it all but wont work tried to change it back to the av setting also will not work... dont want to restore my ps3 because i will lose all my saved stuff not impressed

if anyone knows how i can fix it please help!!

Yeh common fault.

You have to paint the outside of the screen with white paint and put citroen sticker n the front of it, shud work then.

See, this is why the PS3 is bad. X360 FTW
Anyway, it could be a fault in the PS3 or you could always switch to the green blue yellow red and white HD scart, if PS3 does that, IDK.

Try PS3 on diff tv, pref with HDMI cable, or try something else on that tv, again with HDMI - gotta identify if its the PS3 or the TV thats fuckered.

Play station works without hdmi connection, just have to go back to the old skool way, if your tv has it. Just won't be in high def thats all.
