installing java...help
Hello every1, for some reason i cant install java on my laptop, or at least the latest version needed for limewire and such. any ideas? cheers!

Download it from the java site and try again.. make sure you download to a folder and not a temp dir

make sur eyou got admin rights too.. sounds like a privelages problem.. or maybe a temp problem from their hosting site...
if not try going through windows update, they always have latest updates abotu java and web usage. there's plenty of java partner sites that have the latest java download. see if u get the same problem

download it from sunjava website and use the offline installer. That version is just a java plugin for firefox and its always currupt!

yeah its on my own laptop so everythings good with installing rights etc.. tried the offline installer and this happens-

hmm... tried it through a different web browser? like IE
try rebooting it and doing it from there. might be an odd corruption. run a few scans in ur regsitry clear caches and try it. i remember having a similar problem with java. java is so buggable. i still have java problems now but runs fine etc just a few popups happen.
if not im being lazy here myself. but if i ever get stuck best thign to do is type ur problem in google. and garuenteed it'l come up sumwhere and tell u how to fix it etc
