Default 16v firing problem

Hello I have a mk2 1.1 converted vts 3 plug and I have developed a problem it was running then I turned it off and wouldn’t start again I’ve trained the problem down to the fact I only have power at pin 4 I’ve tried the big relay under the ecu tray what else could it be ? 🙂

That's not really useful info Pin 4 on what plug????

Does the fuel pump prime?

Check the wiring on the starter motor, on a 3 plug loom there should be 3 wires, it's common for the one feeding the loom the snap off.

Check your gearbox earth too.

Make sure the ECU isn't immobilised, if you're using all saxo stuff then the immobliser light on the dash should still be working. if it's flashing it's locked or there's a fault.

If the immob light doesnt work, you need to check the injectors are injecting fuel and that there is a spark there.

If there's no fuel or spark it could be immobilised OR the crank sensor has failed.
