Progress has been happening.
I started getting the car ready for FCS.
Quick snow foam:
Clayed, dryed, polished and finished off with a layer of HDWax.
Ready to go:
Tucked up in bed ready for the next day.
Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures on the day, however a few other on lookers sent me some, not great quality but hey ho:
FCS was totally the wrong event for me to go to. The throttle bodied and modified engine bays really do it for me...
So with that done... I came to the swift decision for a change of direction with this car..
Interior will remain standard OEM, as will the exterior looks, but I am going to modify the engine performance and bay, making sure all modifications are very easily returned back to stock.
With that being said, 3 days after FCS I had a brand new Piper stainless steel 4-2-1 manifold on my doorstep.
Which was swiftly fitted.
And today I made a 8 hour round trip for something special...........
So the plan is to clean the bodies up, clean the ITG filter and polish the base plate.
I will buy new Clio 182 injectors and eventually buy a Emerald K6 ECU with a loom adaptor plug so I don't have to touch my engine loom (retaining my intentions of it being reversible at any point)
None of the above will be happening anytime soon as the bodies themselves have cost more than I should ever spend on a saxo but onwards and upwards!
