I know it's a disgusting colour contrast but I can appreciate how he's tucked them away in the arch and was definitely a refreshing change from all the red & black ones at the club stand

It's to do with swept volume or something, not too sure tbh, but they're 1.3's.

If you calculate the CC the same way as you would a piston engine, then it would be a 2.6l. But its not a piston engine, so that's not the proper way to calculate the CC on them.

What Nick said.
All of them are 1.3s but the sweep is different on the 2 models, and if measured the same as a piston engine it would equate to 2598cc or whatever

have to agree had the 231 version loved it and wasn't a problem while I had it prev owner had all leads done and serviced well so other than petrol and road tax being a lil hefty I enjoyed it, interior was really comfy and felt like a expensive car on a small budget as I picked this one up for £1100 with 25k on clock

I've had mates with them, very thristy for what they are, and oil needs to be kept an eye on. Reliaibilty on these things isn't great either, all of this has driven used values into the ground. For the money they look good inside and out and they do handle well... But a same year Civic Type R would shit on either version in a race while averaging an extra 7-8mpg combined when it really shouldn't.

One we saw at Castle Coombe today on bentley rims

A guy came up to me in a multi story car park to chat to me about my hydraulics and by chance said he was the owner of this very car ^. Said he fabricated the hydraulics on it himself from scratch
