Default wearing noise from poss cambelt??

hi guys wondering if you can help, ive got a 1.4 8v 1999

Got a wearing noise at roughly 1500 rpm sound like it is coming from the cambelt. I have replaced cambelt water pump and the tensioner still making the same noise. Removed the fan felt to check if it was the alternator bearings but noise still there with fan belt removed .

cheers

First off make sure the belt is not too tight or too slack, obviously, are your oil fill levels ok? and oil pressure? you have not been too pacific with your information is this noise coming from the belts or the engine??

lo m8 im a friend of adams, adam put a second hand engine in his car, and the new engne had over sized injectors so he had to change the head over . oil level fine, oil pressure is ok, the noise is coming from the belt, the tension of the belt is spot on.

cheers
