---- Saxo-Mikey's Progress Thread - Saxo Mk2 VTR ----
Thought I would start a proper progress thread since i now know what to do unlike the last time i made one and made a right mess of it. haha! Ok, i've had the car before i was the age of 17 and now i am driving it about on the noth eastern roads (18 now!). I've changed it to my taste and have also taken advice from others on some of the mods such as getting rid of the morrette rear lights which i used to have on them. here is all the modifications done soo far both interiour and exteriour (this is at this present time. There has been previous modifications which havent been listed before such as 15" OZ Hydra alloys):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Done/To Do
✓ Standard Spoiler Back on
✓ Pioneer Sound Unit
✓ Sprayed some interior bit's silver
✓ Fusion 5.25" front speakers
✓ Dimma front grill
✓ Rear Smoked Jewel Lights
✓ Front Smoked Angel Eye Lights
✓ Place the OZ hydra's back on
✓ Induction Kit
✓ Tidy up engine bay (rust free....almost!)
✓ Cobra Backbox + Straight through
✓ Lower 50mm all round
✓ Place upper OMP strut brace
* Cobra Clubman Bucket seats
* Tint rear 3 windows
* Re-spray?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't really like the spoiler on it to be honest, but not a hard job to replace it, did the driveshaft just go?

ah ok. yeah, the driveshaft did just go. was £110 for the driveshaft and £80 to get someone to remove 2 seized screws. was an expensive job. when i put the origional/standard spoiler on, it didnt seem to look quite right so ive just left the dimma on. haha!

that does sound like a rather expensive job but I bet it feels good to have a new one on! Did you fit it wrong then?

haha! yeah, saw you too. gave you a quick wave. car will look different now! got rid of the vtr's today as they seemed to ALL have slow releasing air. Some of the pressures which were ment to be at 2.5 were at 1.6 and 1.8. not good. Back to the OZ Hydra's (15") again for the mean while but looking at some TD and some OZ WRC. will post pics up tonight or later tommorow. Also got the interiour of the 2 fan covers and the front speaker covers sprayed silver. Got some down at the Scrappy for free! was really happy. will get pics up of all the recent mods tommorow hopefully!

Spoiler looks like poop imo. Needs lowerd, you'l find the ride harsh with 50mm and standard shocks. Other than that its looking alrite!
