Well all the drivers got to go on the track together, so nobody done any timed laps, but i was in my brothers yellow EK9 type R and on we done a lap when we set of with the FN2 type R, with one guy who was involved the the reasearch and development of it driving it and he could not get past us. At one point when we came on to the longest part of the track he started to gain on us and we were doing about 128mph, then we both had to back off for a corner.
After my brother drove it he said it wasnt as 'raw' as his type R with his being very servere when it comes into the vtec, but the FN2 being more smoother right the way through the rev range.
Having said that my brothers is 198bhp, and only weighs around 1000kg-1050kg, but the fastest car on the day was the silver EP3 with thhe jackson racing charger on it, pushing out 295bhp

Very nice. Love the Ek9s but still not 100% on the new FN2s from the back.
Yeah everyone seems to say that the new type R is alot smoother than the EP and EK civics, but that's why I love my EP3, it's raw and great fun to drive.

yeah mate, I know that to get the best out of the EK's you have to really nail them and fire through the gears hard, but in the FN2 it wouldnt let you do that. IMO after what i saw yesterday the new type R doesnt deserve some of the criticisms thats its been getting, i know i would rather have one than a focus ST anyday.

On parts of the track it was quite bad for stones, and alot of people picked up nasty chips.

Great pictures mate!
White EK9 would of been the nicest looking if it didnt have that shit kit on. I like
the look of the supercharged EP3.
