Hello,

Just brought a 98 VTR and i've been looking around for an induction kit, which one is the best one out there for less then £200? and where could i get one from?

Thanks

Best ones are all enclosed, don't even think about buying an open induction kit. Try either BMC enclosed, Green enclosed or Procomp (if you can get one second hand). Open filters like the classic k&n just lose power and make your car less responsive. Try GSMotorsport from this site.

Just spoke to a mate of mine, he can get me a brand new pipercross viper induction kit for half the price, how would that be compared to the bmc, green, procomp enclosed kits? in terms of power, performance and value for money?

not as good due to it being enclosed in metal which gets hot and then you basically have your filter in a heated blanket defeating the purpose of it

Vipers aren't very good. Best bet is either the green or bmc enclosed. BMC is probably the best of the lot, but is more expensive. Speak to gsmotorsport and see what he can do them for.

I'm very inclined to say BMC aswell. Have not fitted mine as yet , but everbody recommends them , so am looking forward to getting mine fitted!
