had my vtr a while now, done a few simple mods (lowering, tinted and sound system). altho now im toying with the idea of an carbon race can exhaust from a gsxr400. has anyone attempted anythin similar and can give some advice on how to? cheers :err:

seen a r1 system on a vts at a show last year and it sounded great. you will never get a sound like it from a off the self exhaust. i would say defiently do it.

i'd say do it, but........... i'd have it so you can either just see the tail pipe, or smooth your exhaust hole out of the bumper and hide it behind the bumper,so people are like "wow! that sounds sweet, wonder what exhaust he has!?" lol

i did it to my astra, i had an FMF can on that i got for free....
It was just a bolt on but i had to take it off because it was too noisy, on the motorway it was dire. It popped all the time and had a really really annoying whine under the roar that once you started listening to was all you heard.....not to my taste so off it came.

i had a cbr bike can fitted to the vts... popped like mad and rumbled when slowing down but was noisy as feck in the low down revs and on idle.. needless to say it was removed...
