40mm on shocks max for best handling, lower more just for looks

Ive seen a saxo dropped by about 80mm on VTR 14 inch rims. Didnt look right at all ! 40mm is the optimum I'd say.

I got mine lowered 50mm with 15". didnt notice much drop in handling smileys/smiley5.gif was told mind that any lower than 50mm n things start to go wrong n parts wont last as long. if that dunt bother you slam it to the ground, seen saxos lowered 80mm on BIG wheels so 14's....drop it 100mm Euro Style!!

I had 14" on my vts with a 55mm drop and it looked great (gmax shocks). didnt have 2 do any arch work at all . had 2 take it really slow over them sleeping policeman.

since then ive put 17" razors on with the same drop looks nice but got dirty hands from loads of arch work beacame quite friendly with my grinder tho.

55mm would have u smiling. (Ps wish id stuck with my 14" now but its 2 late as spent 2 much money 2 get em on in 1st place.

15s on what profile?

they are just about the same overall rolling radius so a drop in speed is trange, unless your using wheels that weigh 186378678346 kgssmileys/smiley17.gif

i knew a lad who has a vtr dropped 110mm at the back on the standard vtr wheels!it was literally on the floor!!looked excellent but would be too much hassle with things going wrong!ive had mine dropped 60mm on the vtr alloys and it looks great!handles ok but i wouldnt advise to go lower than 50mm if u dont want parts to wear out quicker!

think 60-80 is the absoulute limit unless you wanna go crazy then go for 120 to beat the guy with 110

40 all round. having your car lower at the back ruins the handling aswell and you have to get the brake bias valve altered aswell.

i lowered mine 40mm on a spax kit and dropped the t/b by one click which i think roughly worked out 35mm

Mine's lowered 40mm All round on a full Spax VSX kit with an Apex upper strut brace. Handles like a dream, really sticks with VERY little body roll around bends.

Really want a lower brace too to take it even further!

This is all with standard 14" VTR rims.

120mm would be on the floor just about, my mate did this and his 4" exhaust was just touchin the floor!

im dropped 60 at the fornt and about 80 at the back on 15's with 45 profile tyres, and apart from big speed bumps its fine! handling is spot on i think no matter what people say about not going more than 40mm, i hardly ever lose grip! well, when its not raining anyways :)

EDIT: FOrgot to say, the ride is very hard, but awesome at the same time, makes things more interesting ;)
