been loads of threads about these lately lol. i have one on my car atm, had a magnex too, the cybox is louder..

rate them both really, obviously you get what you pay for, but can't go wrong for £215 delivered

Yeah its loud. Not too loud on idle, but loud and raspy when you open it up. I have the 4" tailpipe, the non-jap one and it sits nice and flush in the bumper too..

As for performance I didn't notice a difference between the cybox and magnex being on.. I didn't change my manifold over though so..

i told you earlier what a cat was in the manifold thread lol!

you keep the cat from your car! and you just replace the exhaust behind it, hence the name cat back system. it will be mot friendly then

lol so thats why they call it a decat pipe - because it cuts out the CAT which you need for MOT.

system above is listed as a cat back system.

you need from the engine (manifold, cat) which you have, then from there the exhaust is the cat back system consisting of a center pipe and a back box.

i've had a cybox system on my old vtr and there so lound its just annoying, magnex are better quality anyway and you wont really notice a difference in peformance unless you have other mods

you dont need a back box as you have probably the best after market one after a BTB you can buy.

the simple thing to do would be buy a magnex centre section to match up with you backbox.

there's no point spendin £250 on a inferior system when all you need is the centre section of a better quality exhaust

Had the cybos exhaust on my old VTR, IMO it sucked never noticed any difference in power gains, just was extremely loud. Not a very good fit either. As the brackets are too small, i complained a few times and ended up having 3 new full systems inn total from them. None of them were very good.

Dont buy cybox.
