Been looking at a Saxo, Its a 1.4 Westcoast. Been told the there is a bit of noise from the injectors and they may need replacing or cleaning??? If this is correct how much would it be to replace injectors?
Will try Redex first of course.....Any help would be great :)

I wasn't aware they could be accountable for making a noise... Anyway, if you want new ones, at a guess, they would cost around £150, maybe less. I think the larger than standard ones cost around £175...
You'll have to be fairly mechanically minded to replace them yourself, but if a garage was to do them, I would guess 2 hours labour ... ?

they are £60 each at citroen, and fairly easy to replace yourself mate, did mine a couple month back.
although im not sure about the noise???

Won't you have to take the inlet manifold off? I wouldn't say that's the easiest job in the world, as you'll have to attack from underneath, surely?

yeah the inlet manifold comes off, i can only assume its the same method as the vts one, theres 3 bolts on top, and 2 behind. you can get enough leverage though once the cars up. not too fiddley for once

I had a thought about taking mine out the other week, as I want (and still want) to check for a possible air leak in the intake... But I shat myself when I started reading through the Haynes manual... :(
