Hi,

I'd like to paint cams cover in my VTS and I have a few questions.

Do I need to use some special paint? I mean heat resistant.

And is there any special way to paint it?

And last one: Do I need to "sand" it before painting or not?

If you look in the Modifications section, then the how-to guides, there is one on polishing the cover. Not sure what sort of paint you need but i would imagine you need some that is heat resistant.

Polishing is not the thing I'm looking for, but thx anyway. I'm wondering do I need to clean the cover in some special way before painting it?

Clean with a suitable engine degreasant, dry with hairdryer until thoroughly dried, paint with 'very high temperature paint'. Can both be bought from motor factors, i.e: Halfords.

Yeah i know you aren't wanting to polish the cover but the guide shows how to remove and clean up the cover as well.
