alright mate,
there probley runnin either a turbo or supercharger conversion. 200+bhp easily achievable. plannin on turbo chargin my vts, quoted 240bhp about 190bhp at the wheels costin £5000+ inc fittin. smileys/smiley17.gif
Depends how big ur budget is, im lookin at spendin around £8000
you can get up 2 170bhp with chip, cams, exhaust, manifold etc but big power you need either a turbo or supercharger conversion.

I always thought the Super 1600 was naturally aspirated. Work on the cylinder head, cams, throttle body, manifold, air box, exhaust, etc. Then all the transmission, suspension, etc, etc.

Cituning do a conversion to convert the car to Super 1600 spec. Have a look on their website.

Yea, it is N/A, cos S1600 class cars rnt allowed to b aspirated, no turbos, no superchargers.
Yea, if anyone of us happens to have £76k, buy the kit to get the Saxo converted, and tell us what it's like smileys/smiley17.gif
So mate, wot u goin for? U lookin for turbo i guess to acheive that power.

talk about bumping up an old thread!

76k is mad...but if you consider the ammount the current WRC cars are worth...seems a steal (Ford Focus WRC i believe cost something like 250k)

N/A imo is the best for a car to go if planning to mod the engine...

2008 WRC cars are worth €750k.

this is brand new out of the box as Loeb would use!

this is why in 2010 WRC is moving to Group N, banning the use of alot of the electronics and exotic materials such as carbon fibre and titanuim.

FIA are hoping to reduce the cost of privatire entry by 30% in order to see more teams envoled in it.

S. Loeb has said he reckons he can still hit the same times in a grou n!

only thing i cant grasp is will the body styling look more like what you buy in the showroom??

because the c4 looks nothing like the one in the motormalL!!!!!!

I think they are restricted to one throttle body and the size of it too, not 100% though.
