So im thinking about a Raceland manifold.

I have an EGR valve,
what do I have to do in order to fit the raceland?

Are the Racelands noticable for gains?
I already have a full straight through exhaust (no cat)
and a BMC filter.

Finally, are they worth their money?

Also at a Guesstimate, a 2001 VTS, BMC filter, Full straight through exhaust and a Raceland Manifold.
Approx bhp guess?

ive heard good and bad about them really, price is very decent though i think.

samcook has one hes a good person to ask, if the egr valve is a problem you could just remove it.

approx bhp id say 130 thats what id expect of mine roughly with them mods. no idea really diffrent cars come out at diffrent bhp

friend had one on his shagged car (114k nackered VTS) said it was quite a bitch to fit,

mikes looked ok but like he said the production of them is shit. the metels really thing. i'd buy one, but i wouldnt expect it to last...

also you need the earlier oil filter to squeeze it through.

I have a raceland on my VTS and fitted one to a 1.4, no problems as im aware having an EGR valve, only probs where the bolts are awkward todo up and having to move the alternator wire.

also egr wouldnt be a prob mate as its a fair bit above the manifold...

Fitted mine no probs, bargain for the price too, doesnt look particularly cheap to me either & iv heard more stories of the piper 4-1 not fitting VTS' well than i have the raceland.

Cant comment on horsepower gains & i dont feel much of a difference really, slight change in the exhaust note possible but im running a full magnex system with 2 silencers.

Your EGR valve might get in the way a little bit with the bolts but nothing major, the manifolds go out the bottom of the car & new one comes back in the same way so the EGR shouldnt be any trouble in that respect.

Do It imo ;)

i got 15bhp increase on my furio with a raceland, de-cat straight through system and viper filter, so i would guess around the same as, i recommend heat wrapping. Mine would be faster if i had, as my engine bay is soo hot when running. go for it m8

I think there ok and a great price. Makes the exhaust more raspy as the pulses changes.

Gains were good on my VTR.

just take the EGR valve off and block he hole up on the cylinder head with a bolt. the racelands do tend to run hot here is a pic of anotehr memebers to show u jsut how hot they do run,

on the plus sides of the Raceland are their price and the performance.. the downside is they are put together by chimpanzees looking at the welding..

Spend a bit more and you get a quality product that should perform slightly better. How important that is to you determines what you purchase

well i think the raceland looks like the thing to get for performance to your pound..
