hi peps im new to the forum so if i do owt wrong put me in me place:P does ne1 no if i can fit tbs to a 1.4 west mpi silver top? ive got me tbs, and i no i need to fabrecate my own manifold but there is a pipe on the inlet manifold to the brake servo i wondered if this would create a problem? and also would i need to put bigger injectors in. my car as it stands so far has piperx kit bored/polished tb, oil cooler, rev limiter removed, decat and full ss. i am also hope to put a vtr mk2 head on as ive heard that they have bigger inlet valves on and is it a direct fitment? and finally a kent cam pt40. sry about asking so many questions its a late night and wanted to get every thing in as possible :panic:

we have a member on the site who is running throttlebodies on the 1.4 man...

however this is for rallying so im not totally sure where the car stands in terms of MOT, emissions and other legality issues.

His username is Foggy, I suggest you contact him for more specific info as he's your best source of knowledge on the matter

foggys is rally car spec.

1400 you can fit the bike bodies it sounds like you want to run. custom inlet manifold, where you will need to have a section welded on to run a pipe to the brake sevo unless you like ditches.

Hi bud....

Yes you can get TB's on the 1360 motor, here's a pic to prove...

http://www.smrallying.co.uk/images/ssc/engine.jpg

Running on Jenvey 40 TB's with Omex stand alone ECU.

The head has been modified with bigger VTR valves, and the inlets track have been opened up to allow the tubes to be bonded in to manufacture the inlet manifold. This is where the problems start, as the engine builder damaged 3 heads before getting it right, as the water jackets are very close to the inlets.

The take off pipe that you are on about drives the servo, so this needs to be connected, otherwise you will need an adjustable bias pedal box like the thing on the right of the picture with the two tubs on it. Problem is, no one makes one for a Saxo.......... Custom made one...

As for injectors, the engine builder found the Rover injectors created he best flow and HP, as the engine was dyno'ed as being built....

Any more questions, pm me or look HERE (http://www.smrallying.co.uk/car_spec_sheet.htm)

Hope this helps answer a few questions....... (By the way, it goes like fook with the straight cut box and dif, ask James_Bristol !!)
