thought id just leave message bout my motor jus ad her fixed after bout month o problems but no one knew wot it was

and was intermitent so cudent show ppl

wot was happening was if i left the car ticking over then eventualy the revs would shoot up and the car would seem to choke and then kick out black shitty smoke :n:

i was stumped :wall:

terned out once i took it 2 af tuning in chesterfield (only place that could figure it out :clapping: ) that as he was swaping diognosis machenes the car did its little dying trick and he just caught it on the printouts it showed that the engien temp was at bout 90o but when it played up it droped 2 -14o so the engien was changing the mix and almost flooding itself :ill:
:flush:

so one new cooling sensor later and £65 poorer (which is nuthin) shes running like a dream and i can finaly engoy new induction kit an cat back system i had put on bye exaust uk :y: :y: :y:

so,e times there also tends to be one other fault which is to do with the idle controle so id get it checked out by a good garage you can trust hope you get it sorted (thancks for the rep btw)

do you have part number for the sensor? i have replaced the coil pack ,spark plugs ,fuel filter , air filter , and have that warming up problem. just to make sure that it is the same issue ill just mention my problem........start the vehicle from cold , and as the temperature gauge rises onto the bottom of the scale, if the car is stationary the revs increase and if i touch the throttle the revs drop nd cut out , attempt start the vehicle and it cranks for ages then fires on 2 cylinders and if i dont pick the revs up slowly with the throttle it cuts out. however if the vehicle is driving when the needle on the gauge just comes onto the bottom part of the gauge it missfires and only on 2cylinders but if i drive through it and the temperature rises all is ok. runs perfect once the temperature is the optimum on the gauge.
any help would be much appriciated.
thanks ash

If you pop into your nearest dealer, they can easily look it up on their computers and give you a price too. think its around £15?
