oil leak dont no!!!

hi just bought a new car vts. IV JUST FITTED A new radiator that went on no probs. the car has bin left sitting for 5 months but ive only had it 4 two days.turn it over and after 5 mins theres a burning smell. theres also a slight bit of oil on the engine just on top of the manifold,my dad reckons it just burning up the oil from the heat. it runs fine tho, so just wondering if its a problem or not.

Hi mate.

If there's any oil on the manifold, it will burn alright! And it will smoke too. But it won't last... Start the engine and take a look at the engine bay, see if you can find anything.
