it should give a performance increase, cant really see it being more than 5-10 bhp tho.

i agree find your nearest rolling roads for a true reading. Would reccomend DYNAMO

Rolling roads and true readings are words that should never be put together in one sentence… you need to take the engine out and put it on a good engine dyno for a true reading… one day I will have a big rant about chassis dynos!:homme:

just a cat back system and i am assuming just a replacment element or even an open filter wouldnt give 105 bhp would it?

rr's are good IF, you rr before any mods, then rr it after all your mods, then at least your have a breif outline of your performance enhancements. but i think people just presume that every mk2 vtr is 98 bhp bang on.

I'm thinking about 103-104 bhp tops. Don't always consider peak power as a performance gauge though as what happens under that is equally as important.

They are useful tools still. Mostly as a comparison for your own car only. RR test the car change something and test again to fit the difference. At the end of the day though RR shootouts are fun and should be treated as such.
Naturally a climate controlled engine dyno is the best way to get a true reading but out of most peoples reach and still arguably not comparable to other engine dynos in the same way as the others aren't
