Just fitted my ashley system, after a lot of ball ache removing the bolts from the downpipe. Got it on, got it sitting nicely, fired it up and it sounds shit!!! I expected it to roar into life, but instead it sounded like a wet fart!! A quiet one at that!!!!
Have i got a dud one or what??

Fitted mine and when you fire it up it doesnt sound mint but once you wear it in and drive it you wont be disappointed. Go for a drive 3,000rpm is key! :)

Have you got a decat on? If not then a decat will make it rumble a bit more and
pop and bang and splutter.
Why do you want a loud gay exhaust anyways?

Ashley can be loud but when you put her in 5th she sounds standard! Good for cop watch if you do anything illegal that is!

if its the group N system you have then it will be designed to remain under 98dbs. This is a good thing.
Give it time to coke up a bit and the exhaust note will change. Don't expect a Peco fart in a bean can noise though.

Yes, i take all that back!!!!!!!
Ran it for about 30-40 miles last night and the sound just kept getting better and better!!!! Nice and quiet when your cruising, but when you boot it, you know your booting it!!! A noticeable gain in power as well!!:y:
Definately recommended!!!

On a personal note

They are made for performance...
Best sounding exhaust by far you can get for a saxo for sure

I must admit, when im doin about 30-40mph i never know wether to put it in 4th or 5th to save the most fuel! 4th is too high, 5th is bogging lol:panic:

dont worry about the volume mate, loud exhausts suck unless they are on something with a turbo. as for the sound quality, give it time to bed in before you make your mind up.
