started as a really tinny knocking sound then died, started runnin on 3 etc etc..
anyway point of the thread, would a mk2 vtr engine bolt straight into a mk1 vtr? thanks
also would like to know about the vts :y:

i think you need to do some work on the wiring loom, other than that its a straight fit

basically any vtr engine will do, single plug or 3 plug ecu,
cause at the end of teh day if its 3 plug just lob your single plug ecu on to it,

ok, so found out its a 2003 engine and done a bit of a search and alot of people saying its alot of work, any guides or anythink for this please? its a mk2 vtr 2003 engine going into a mk1 vtr 1997

take your engine out and use the wiring loom off your old engine and put it on the new one simple as

why i said take the looms off and swap them problem solved?
