Hi there, I've just got myself a Saxo 1.4 Furio, with the VTR bodykit, and I'm wanting to increase the power output, but also make it sound meaty. The options I've thought of are:
1. An exhaust system (not sure whether to get backbox or full system?)
2. A CDA Air Filter System
Which would be better?
Also just wondering if you could also advise me on what size alloys would look the best.
-Apparently 15" will go on not a problem.
-16" will go on but the rear bumper clips have to be cut off
-And 17" requires a lot of work
Not worried about doing the work, but just wondered which looks the best?
Many thanks in advance.

1- go for a full system my choices would be magnex or scorpion.
2- good choice on filter.
16's with 195/40 tyres will fit without rubbing

^^ All of what Scott has said. Also depends on size of wallet.
Mixture of my powerflow system and soon to put on BMC will sound great.
Also , Id get 16's as they are just right on mine, but do look into lowering 40mm aswell, as mine looked like a tractor when it wasnt lowered!

Yeah gotta get your car lowered when getting new wheels or it will look like a 4X4!

Thanks for the great advice.
But with 16's, and it being lowered, will any of the arches need modifying?

I think you just have to take the black arch lining out to fit 16"s with a drop, but I'm not sure because I've got 17"s on so I had to cut the arches as well as weld and stuff.

on my 16's Ive got a 45 profile and it rubbed on the back with just me in the car ! So I had to get a bit of inner arch work done. But with 40 profiles you wont get much rubbing at all. Scotts' is down 40mm and he has done bit of archwork himself

Scott, can you tell what work had to be done on yours when you put 16's on and dropped it 40mm please?

if got 16" and lowered it 50mm and if got no rubbing
so you dont need to make any adjustments with 195/40/16 tires

im down 50mm on 16's full car plus luggage and it wont even come close to rubbing smileys/smiley2.gif
get the 195/40 tyres though and it shouldnt need anything

195/40/16 is perfect no rubbing or anything. but your et must be max 15 and the wheels can be max 7" wide.
