mine isnt wrapped, but my gasket was fine off my old one, so it was ok, but mines a phase one, so my lamba sensor actually reached. but if yours is a phase 2, i hear you need to extend the sensor

..second that, looking to get me a Raceland mani within the next few weeks, and stick it on with a sports cat and then get a cat-back built on from my local Autowise... In two minds whether to heat wrap it or not. :)

if i was putting mine in again i would definetly heat wrap it, its well worth it unless you want see the cool purple colours on the pipes and a very hot engine bay lol

Yea think I might just heat wrap it, better than not having it wrapped I suppose. Cheers m8 cos i still havent got round to buying a sleeve so if you can show me what you have should save money. By the way has you had any problems with you engine management light?

i have been playing golf all day so will try take some pics shortly...if the light is ok with a torch lol.

na no problems at all, my m8 has a falut code reader and plugged it in and the only problem is it miss fires at v high revs in 1 of the cylinders (fink that was wat it was, been a while) but ye no problem to do with the new manifold at all, the sleeve does a awesome job

heat wrap is quite simple to apply, just use some stainless steel ties and pull it tight, heres mine wrapped :y:

just be warned it makes you itch like hell, you can also buy some spray to fully cure the wrapping process but tbh the wrap will do just as good of a job :Y:

if you are fitting it yourself just make sure you do up the lower nuts up first as its very awkward to reach some of them
