Hi im after a saxo vts at the minute but im not sure about getting a 2001 model because of the EGR and the 3 plug ecu! are they much slower or jst the same as the old ones? any help please! :D

all VTS' are 120 BHP 3 plug and single plug

i have heard the 3 plugs are harder to tune?~ dont get as much hp as the single plug on rolling roads

nope, only on VTR, Furio and 1.1 as the CAT is in the manifold, CAT is always under the car on the VTS

single plugs are slightly better for modifying i do believe but not that much diffrence that id make a car buying decision on it however
depends how far you want to go with the tuning really,

williams used to have a 3 plug cammed vts which ran just about that so your fine matey
that was on catcams and remaped i believe

Yes marc had 153 on 708s.
id go for a single plug mate.

and single plug means you can get a standalone ecu which plugs straight in with a wiring harness. 3 plugs is a ball ache to wire.

im goin now to london :P to look at a 2000 dark blue model. apparentyl cammed magnex manifold magnex system. 30k on the clock. i will keep you updated i will put my thoughts of it up when i get back around 6 hours time :S

A 2000 model should be a single plug.
Magnex dont do manifolds.

welll been to look at it. Complete NO NO lol. got there it was really dirty had few dinks in the doors. seat was a bit worn on edge. its only supposed to have 33k but i doubt it. inside was a mess. engine bay was rubbish, it had an oil leak maybe from the rocker cover or worse the head. it was not even that fast. it was supposed to have 157 bhp as well. so nope. if anyone is selling a vts please inform me :D
