new exhaust

I fitted my new piper back box yesterday and it came with new rubber mounts. I fitted these and there is no movement up or down but there is a fair bit of side to side movement and I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and also what they did to sort it any help would be great.

I know it may sound mad, but zipties?

I used them on my old 206's exhaust as it moved side to side..

yup this is very good advice, mad as it may sound but my backbox was not in the centre of the bumper cut out so i cable tied it to the spare wheel holder to line it up:P it really works

jeers for the info could you just put zipties from the bracket on the back box to the bracket on the body of thr car which should stop it moneing side to side
