Try clearing things up a little, what engine have you got atm? what year is your car? and what engine are you putting in?

should put the same year vts engine in the same year vts or you may have to change the entire loom for the car

get a pre 1997 to guarentee matching looms

As said black top is a easy swap for another black. Just avoid the silver plops.

right ive been given a black top mistakingly by the breakers yard. i was wondering wether it would fit to save me cash sending it back and waiting for a silver top. its don 42k so nice decent mileage if it were to fit. i am now pondering on selling it to fund getting a original silver top for my mk1. cat under car. jay
