Rattle noise

Hoping one or a few of you can help me.....

My VTS seems to have a rattle coming from the engine bay when driving dunno if stops at higher speeds but is definately there at lower speeds........There is no dip in performance in the engine or anything like that, just wondering if anyone knows what the problem might be........

By the way the car is completely standard...

In all honesty it could be a vast number of things. I sold my VTS in the sptember there, and had one before that so in 3 years of driving them i was fortunate enough not to get this problem. Have you looked round the engine bay?

does the noise only occur when the car in in motion? Or do you hear it when the car is idling?

You cannot hear it when idleing, when the car is not moving you can only hear it when revving the engine..........apart from that you can near it when moving.....i think that there is a loose componet which is attched to the engine somewhere which is making the noise

does it stop when you dip the clutch for example??
