?? what engine ??

Hello,

I have got myself a 1.4 mpi citroen sohc engine from a saxo about a week ago from my local scrap yard, to fit in my pug 205.

Before fitting i was going to totaly recon the engine, but now i have had the head off i find the bore size is about 78mm and stroke about 82mm,
the timing belt has 101 teeth on it,
and it has a 200mm clutch fitted,

After looking on the net, i have found out the engine is a 1.6 and not the 1.4 but thats all i can find out,

Just before someone tells me to check the engine plate number, it has been removed as the car it was taken from was a class B

Any help would be nice thanks

Looking at it, it looks like the first one,
But i dont think i should go on looks,
The bore size and stoke is right for the 1.6 saxo

The 1.6 saxo has also the 200mm clutch when i looked in the manual,

But not sure on the timing belt, ive found out that the 306 1.6 and 106 1.6 both have 101 teeth on the timing belt.

If anyone know how many teeth the 1.6 sohc saxo timing belt has, it would be helpful
