i have a T-Reg '99 VTR and have bought a 53 VTS engine.
the ecu's are both 3 pin but what if anything will i need 2 change on the wiring loom??
please help

i think you can use the ecu and wiring loom already in the car just unlock ecu, and unplug engine lift out whack vts engine and replug.
well this is what ive been told.

ive bought an unlocked and remapped ecu so that should plug in n work then?

i was guna put a late vts engine in mine and was told it should be just plu and play.

T reg should be the single plug ecu on the R!

as above, T-plate vtr will have single plug ecu. If you're putting in a later vts engine then you can either rewire the vts loom engine-side multi-plug into the vtr loom multi-plug car-side (behind the passenger side headlight), or you can use an earlier single plug vts ecu and wiring loom and it will plug straight in (what I did with mine).

tommy lol phoning me up and trying 2 blag you were finding out for a m8 hahaha good try m8, except you gave it away when i asked about the immobliser. you done it yet, mite pop up have a gander

got any tools and a spare weekend? so depressin lookin at at!! i want it in now!!
worried it ent gonna work now tho.... mine is a single plug but can u not just unplug the wiring from the engine bay?!
