Right just ordered a Peco C1 back box that is specific too my Mk1 VTR afta a balls up with my universal that nobody would fit, so when I get this can I basically take it to the local tyre and exhaust center and they will fit it?

I would take it to a proper garage my friend. Much more trustworthy. And if you choose a good one alot cheaper as well. Just got my manifold and centre section fitted for £80 at the garage, they know alot more about what they are doing than say kwik fit etc.

Yeh backbox is a do it yourself thing, but if you get like a centerpipe or manifold then take it to a garage and it would be abit akward IMO :y:

yeah the centre pipe you really need to raise it up or it hard to get to

Yep good thing is though when you do take it to a garage they fit all new brackets etc and cos i had problem fitting my piper backbox on to the supersprint center pipe, they clamped it on well and it used to always come loose but it doesnt no more :y:

they sorted my back box out and fitted center pipe for £20 so fittin backbox i would say it would be £10 if you did take it to a garage

I havent got a decent jack yet otherwise I would of done it myself, thats why Im taking it to the garage, what sort of volume do you get from peco compared to magnex etc? Im after more of a deep grunt lol instead of a high pitch
