im after a short shift for my saxo ive done the lot of group n engine mounts and now i just want a really firm solid feel to the gear stick like my mates zetec s fiesta, i will do group n gear box linkige but where can i get a short shift doesnt have to be b&m ,

Me too. Its unreal the difference it makes, takes some getting used to as you cant really beleive its in gear after moving the stick 4" from 1st to 2nd.
When i spoke to Chris at Manic motors (who supplied and fitted mine) he said he'd treid them all in his track car and the GE was the best considering its cheap cost.

can you chane the gear knobs on them or do you have to stick with the crappy chrome ones

you can get the B&M 1's with the gear stick/knob built on, or just one of these-

B+Ms are a good bit of kit,
so is the GE quickshift.

B&M ftw, kam has the last 9, so going to be hard to get hold of the best kit around.
i have one and its awesome.

u not put both on? would that not make a difference?
