Where have you lot put your ram pipes/trumpets that feed the air filter? I was thinking about cutting a hole in my dimma grill and having it there.

Dont really want to take out my fog light or anything...

Repped for pics/inspiration:y:

I personally would get a smaller numberplate, move it to one side and cut a hole in the bumper for it.

Cheers mate! Liking that!:y:
Have some rep for your troubles!;)

Can i just ask, how does the trumpet stay in the mesh?? Is it just a push fit?

I rivetted it at the top and bottom

is the pipe linked straight to that hole u made mate?
how do you lift bonnet up if so?
or is it just space for air to through the grill?

its fake mate - busted

I'm a style whore, so basically its a hole for the bonnet realese catch. Its now been removed

you could attatch a pipe to it though, may be a bit difficult to open the bonnet etc

Ahh, shit! Lol
I got done!! It looks proper real mate! But as you said, you could easily attatch a pipe to it I suppose

would be a perfect location to mount it though. The best places are high pressure areas on the front of the car.

Bumper / Grill area is ideal

I'm planning on mounting mine instead of one of the inside lights of my morette's. I'd definately try and get it somewhere upfront, but up high so don't run the risk of sucking in a puddle, lol

ive run the pipe from my bmc to the standard plastic pipe for the standard air box. seems to work pretty well for me a few others have done the same.

hope that helps

how about the same as above in the grill but the opposite side so you can still open the bonnet?

unless you really use your fog lights, remove them and then route it to the right one (as you look at the front of the car) id expect there to be a lot of air flow there pretty easy to route as well

It'd get splashback there though, surely...
And plus, it looks ugly with no fogs i think. its not a track slag lol

why dont you do 2? one to open the grill and one for your intake?

As in, one for show, one for go?

My mate put that flamer kit on his MG ZR and it worked a treat mate!! Lol
No joke it was firing flames at least 1.5ft! And its only standard, but it is 160bhp!

the bumper will most likely be the highest pressure air area (haha sounds rhythmic) Or you can get a scoop in the bonnet those would be the two best est if you want maximum air flow
