Hello this is my first post on this site, just recently bought a saxo Vtr on a V plate. Yesterday i took it on its first big journey to a first aid course a 200 mile round trip. I got stuck on the M25 for ages and noticed that the temp gauge raised alittle over the centre line. It didn't get anywhere near the red but it concerned me a little. In my previous car the temp needle never really moved. Was just wondering is this normal in a saxo, when i got home i left it running and the fan kicks in at where the needle got to on the motorway and cools the engine straight away. Do your saxos do the same thing or do i have a blocked radiator or gasket issue.
Cheers
Grant

Don't worry mate, mines the same... Fan kicks in at just past the halfway mark... If you are worried about it, a VTS radiator will help with the cooling slightly...
