what tappets does a 1.1 saxo sx 97reg have?
i have been told that thay are hydraulic tappets and cant be adjusted is this true and would unset tappets cause relly bad mpg and no power under 3000 revs?

Incorrectly set tappets could cause this but so could a whole host of other problems, tyres under inflated or not tracked correctly.
A brake binding would also explain lack of power.

have cheaked tyers tracking is spot on have changed spark plugs, air filter, lambda and temp sensor none of witch sorted bad mpg are stutering at low revs

get a diagnostics test done. if you have a heavey right foot you will get shit mpg.

yeah looks like im going to have too also heard that erly 1.1s have to be cheacked by shitron only because thay only have the right comp or somint

aint my right foot dont boot it about much plus i dont think you could get 15mpg in a 1.1 when puting your foot down
