Hi there,
Going to have a bash at setting the tappets of my 2002 VTR over the weekend... once I've got a Haynes manual.
One thing is confusing me though - I've heard the manual tells you to set them from cold and at 0.20mm inlet and 0.40mm exhaust. I've also read that GMC recommend setting them with a warm engine at 0.20mm inlet and 0.30mm exhaust. Which set of values is best? Is there any risk setting the exhaust to 0.30mm with a warm engine?
Cheers :y:
