WHY NOT LOOK AT THE HOW TO GUIDE....

VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD... I DONE THIS A FEW YEARS AGO AND SPENT A FEW HOURS OF HARD GRAFT AND ELBOW GREASE... WELL WORTH IT smileys/smiley2.gif

on your first post you didn't mention it was a vtr. The guide is for the VTS rocker cover, as it is aluminium. It comes fgrom the factory very dull and covered in lacquer. Basically you remove the lacquer and silver paint. until you have a bare aluminium base, then you polish the sucker til you can see your face in it.

It can't be done on a vtr are they are plastic covers.

If you really wanted to do it, it might be an idea to look and engine spray paint, select one of the high temp jobbies,

hope this helps.
